The 1920 horror franchise is getting another film. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and producer Anand Pandit have come together for 1920: Cold Winter, the latest installment in the supernatural series that began in 2008.

Vikram Bhatt also has a direct link with the franchise from its earliest days. He directed the first 1920 film in 2008 and later directed 1921, which came out in 2018. With 1920: Cold Winter, he is returning to the series as both writer and director.

The franchise began with 1920, starring Adah Sharma and Rajniesh Duggall. The story followed a man who leaves behind his family and faith and later finds that his wife has been possessed by a demonic force.
