The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the Certificates of Registration of 192 companies, using powers under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
In a press release issued on July 15, 2026, the central bank said the companies named in its list shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined under clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
The cancellation orders listed in the release were dated between June 1 and June 30, 2026. The release was signed by Brij Raj, Chief General Manager, and carried press release number 2026-2027/676.
What the RBI order says
The RBI release gives the company name, registered office address, Certificate of Registration number, date of issue of the certificate, and the date of the cancellation order for each entity.
The list includes companies registered across several states and cities. A large number of addresses in the release are in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal. The first company named in the list is Naveen Merico Engineering Co. Private Limited, with registered office at A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata. Its CoR number was B.05.03745, issued on March 19, 2001, and the cancellation order date was June 1, 2026.
The final company named is Daver Investments Private Limited, with a registered office at New Marine Lines, Mumbai. Its CoR number was 13.01214, issued on March 17, 1999, and the cancellation order date was June 30, 2026.

Ltd.; Efthalia Mercantiles Private Limited, also known as Nandan Mercantiles (P) Ltd; and Amar Impex Private Limited, also known as Shubham Impex Private Limited.

Cancellation dates covered in June 2026
The cancellation orders were issued on multiple dates in June. The earliest order in the list is dated June 1, 2026. Several orders followed on June 4, June 5, June 8, June 9 and June 10.
The release also records cancellation orders dated June 15, June 17, June 18, June 22, June 24, June 29 and June 30, 2026. The largest blocks of names in the list appear under the June 10, June 29 and June 30 order dates.
Effect of cancellation
The RBI’s statement is limited to the cancellation of the Certificates of Registration and the resulting restriction on business activity. It says the listed companies cannot transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution after the cancellation.
