The release date of Tera Yaar Hoon Main has been changed again. The romantic drama, starring debutant Aman Indra Kumar and Akanksha Sharma, is now scheduled to arrive in theatres on July 24, 2026.
The film was earlier set for July 31, 2026. With the latest update, the makers have advanced the release by one week. The announcement was made along with the teaser of the film’s title track, giving viewers a first look at the mood of the song and the relationship-driven story.
Title track teaser introduces the film’s emotional tone
The teaser of the title song focuses on the themes that the film is built around: friendship, love, companionship and personal bonds. It does not reveal major plot details, but it offers glimpses of the lead characters and the emotional space of the film.

Release plan has changed more than once
Tera Yaar Hoon Main has had multiple release date changes in recent months. The film was first planned for a theatrical release on May 22, 2026. It was later shifted to July 31, 2026. The current date is July 24, 2026.
The new date also changes the film’s box office positioning. By moving to July 24, Tera Yaar Hoon Main avoids a direct clash with the Hollywood release Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is set to release in India on July 30. However, the film will now share its release date with The India Story, starring Shreyas Talpade and Kajal Aggarwal.
Aman Indra Kumar makes his acting debut
The film marks the acting debut of Aman Indra Kumar, son of filmmaker Indra Kumar. He stars opposite Akanksha Sharma. Paresh Rawal is also part of the cast and plays an important role in the story.
For Aman, the film will be his first theatrical outing as an actor. The project places him in a romantic drama directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, who has worked across commercial Hindi cinema.
