The Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, has announced the winners of the online quiz competition titled Sahkar Se Samriddhi: Cooperative Sector Awareness Quiz. The quiz was organised in collaboration with MyGov as part of an awareness effort around India’s cooperative sector and the ministry’s related initiatives.
The competition was hosted on the MyGov platform from 15 June 2026 to 15 July 2026. According to the announcement, 7,862 individuals from across the country participated in the quiz. The ministry said the activity was aimed at citizens, including young participants, who wanted to learn more about the cooperative movement and test their understanding of recent developments in the sector.
MyGov is used by government departments for online citizen engagement, including quizzes, contests and awareness activities. In this case, the platform was used to make the cooperative-sector quiz accessible to participants across India during the one-month window.
What the quiz covered
The quiz focused on knowledge related to the cooperative sector and recent work linked to it. Topics included initiatives and reforms of the Ministry of Cooperation, strengthening and computerisation of PACS, National Level Cooperative Societies, White Revolution 2.0, the National Cooperation Policy and other developments in the cooperative sector.
PACS refers to Primary Agricultural Credit Societies, which are local-level cooperative institutions associated with credit and related services, especially in rural areas. Their strengthening and computerisation have been highlighted as part of wider efforts to improve efficiency, transparency and service delivery in the cooperative system.
The announcement also referred to National Level Cooperative Societies and White Revolution 2.0 among the quiz themes. These topics connect the quiz to broader cooperative-sector work, including national cooperative institutions and the dairy-sector focus associated with the White Revolution. The National Cooperation Policy was another theme, indicating that the quiz was not limited to general awareness but also covered policy and reform-related information.

Purpose of the initiative
The phrase Sahkar Se Samriddhi is associated with the idea of prosperity through cooperation. The quiz used that theme to introduce participants to the cooperative movement and to government initiatives connected with it.
The announcement said the quiz was intended to help participants test and improve their understanding of the cooperative sector. By including themes such as PACS, cooperative societies, dairy-related initiatives and policy reforms, the competition also helped readers identify the main areas currently linked with cooperative-sector awareness.
The Ministry of Cooperation congratulated the winners and thanked all participants for taking part. It said the response showed growing interest, particularly among young citizens, in understanding the cooperative movement and its link with Sahkar Se Samriddhi.
The ministry also asked citizens to stay connected with the Ministry of Cooperation and MyGov for future initiatives linked to learning, participation and contribution to the cooperative movement.
