NADA India and MyGov have announced the winners of the online quiz competition Play True: The Clean Sport Challenge. The quiz was organised as part of the Play True Day Fortnight Campaign and focused on clean sport, fair play, and anti-doping awareness.
According to the announcement published on the MyGov Blog on 10 July 2026, the competition was conducted from 4 May 2026 to 4 June 2026. It received participation from 20,342 individuals from across India, showing broad public interest in learning about the rules and values that support clean sport.
Purpose of the challenge
The quiz was designed as an awareness activity. It gave participants a way to test their understanding of anti-doping principles and the importance of competing fairly. In this context, clean sport refers to sport that is based on honesty, respect for rules, and avoidance of prohibited substances and methods.
The campaign also highlighted that anti-doping is not only about testing athletes. It includes education on rights, responsibilities, and the procedures used to protect fair competition. By using an online quiz format, NADA India and MyGov made these topics accessible to participants during the campaign period.
What the quiz covered
The competition covered several key areas linked to sports integrity. These included fair play, integrity in sport, athletes’ rights and responsibilities, prohibited substances and methods, and doping control procedures.
Each of these themes is important for understanding how clean sport is maintained. Fair play and integrity focus on the values expected in competition. Athletes’ rights and responsibilities help participants understand that competitors must follow rules while also being treated fairly. Prohibited substances and methods relate to what is not allowed under anti-doping rules, while doping control procedures refer to the systems used to check and uphold compliance.
